Meet the Staff
Matthew A. Baran
President / Owner
Matthew “Matt” Baran, born in July 1984, is a seasoned entrepreneur with a strong background in hospitality and funeral transportation services. A graduate of Willoughby South High School (Class of 2003), Matt spent over a decade managing a restaurant group, where he developed expertise in operations and customer service. In 2005, he co-founded Atlantis Auto-Livery Inc., a family-owned funeral transportation service serving Northeast
Ohio. With a lifelong connection to the industry, Matt is dedicated to upholding the highest standards at Atlantis Auto-Livery, ensuring compassionate and reliable support for families during difficult times.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys golf, music, movies, live events, vacations, and spending time with his dog, Bailey, family, and close friends.
Jenifer N. Pitts (Baran)
Office Manager
Jenifer N. Pitts (Baran) has been a dedicated member of Atlantis Auto-Livery since 2008, initially starting with first call removals. Having grown up in the industry, she deeply values the family-like atmosphere and the lasting friendships she’s built over the years. Jenifer is working towards obtaining her funeral director’s license in the future.
Outside of work, she enjoys running and fishing with her husband, Rob, and their two boys.
